I love your intro-sentence and the examples you bring with. Are you saying that the things important to Walter are education family and friends two? I would suggest adding a topic sentence to the fourth paragraph that shows friends as what counts in life.
I really enjoyed reading your paper. Although you Did have a few tense errors but nothing major. I was confused also if you were talking about what was important to Walter was education or you?
